"And I said, My strength is perished, and mine expectation from Jehovah. Remember mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall."

- Lamentations 3:18-19 (ASV).

"Jehovah is slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness, forgiving iniquity and transgression; and that will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation."

- Numbers 14:18 (ASV).

About Hal

Hal Paxton is the son of an Advent Christian pastor and lives in the Tampa Bay area.

He has a Bachelors Degree in Creative Writing from the University of South Florida (go Bulls!). Hal's short story, The Package, was a finalist in the WORLDview Fiction Contest in 2004. A number of his short stories and articles have appeared online in various webzines and publications.

Aside from being active in two writers groups (Suncoast Christian Writers Group and the Novel Four) with very talented individuals, Hal teaches the adult Bible study in his church and is in the process of becoming a pastor.

Hal is also a webmaster, web-designer, social marketing expert for a number of clients. It's those clients who keep Hal fed and able to write in the wee-hours (or any free hours. It doesn't really matter what time of day. One writes, when one can and frankly there's not that many free hours in a day nor are they really free. Each comes at a cost Hal is willing to pay).

Among other talents, Hal is also pretty efficient with a camera, that being another one of his passions:
